Agreement of adjectives • . . All adjectives agree in gender and number with the noun or pronoun that they modify. Adjectives that end in –o in the masculine have four different forms: • To form the plural of most adjectives ending in an unaccented vowel, add –s • To form the plural of adjectives ending in a consonant, add–es • All other adjectives with the exception of adjectives of nationality have two forms, singular and plural
2) . Adjectives of nationality that end in a consonant have four forms. An –a is added to create the feminine form. The plural forms follow the prescribed pattern. . Adjectives of nationality that end in –n or –s have a written accent mark in the masculine singular form.
