  15. Letterman Jacket Criteria Beginning December 1, 2013, all players who have met the following criteria will be considered a varsity athlete for the Plano Senior High Boys’ Soccer Program. Therefore, those athletes will be eligible for a varsity letter jacket or 2nd year patch: • A player on the active playing roster, manager or trainer in good standing with the team • Maintains a passing average in all classes • Possesses a good attitude and attendance in current soccer class (Fall and Spring) • Displays good disciplinary record in all classes • Completed a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer work over the past 6 months • Played in 3 varsity matches or dressed out for 9 varsity matches* Once all the criteria have been met, the player must send documentation of volunteer work to Coach Adams. Coach Adams will provide a certificate that must be presented to the apparel vendor along with a down payment before work on the jacket begins. * Special considerations for injuries and transfers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  16. New Letterman Jacket Hints • Most players put their last name on the back (there are several styles to choose from) and their first name embroidered on the front right chest.  • The right sleeve is reserved for their senior year activities and the left sleeve is the junior year.  The graduation year patch is on the top of the right sleeve. • Individual honors are on either a soccer ball or circle patch.  Other activities where a letter is earned (other sports, Band, Foreign Language Clubs, Debate, etc…) can be sewn on the appropriate sleeve. • The jackets and patches can be purchased at Texas 2 Stitch (3100 Independence Pkwy, next to Tom Thumb). Delivery timeframe is typically 4-6 weeks.
