Size of the sample 348 middle school inspection reports were published between September 2005 to August 2008 • 84 were middle deemed primary • 264 were middle deemed secondary The comparative data for all primary and secondary schools has been compiled from the HMCI reports published in 2006 and 2007 - 5151 primary school reports and 1141 secondary schools.
