  4. Elderly who qualify for support and help, from the municipality • Average cost per person and year, if living at their homes • 219.639 SEK (22.000 Euro) if living at their homes • 515.059 SEK (51.000 Euro) for those in Elderly Nursing homes

  5. Condition for deployment in the future • When in large scale roll out • Easier installation • More stable function • Possibility for the elderly to choose equipment • Extended target group • Motivate relatives

  6. Difficulties so far • Including criteria's from the beginning • To much focus on those who are already heavily supported by the municipality • – High rate of drop out – new randomisation in progress • Introducing new routines and technology in an organisation already under significant workload

  7. Experiences in Sweden • Ghost • Smoke Detector – Real Alarm • Fall Detector – Christmas tree • A number of Alarms – Pleased with the attention • Trouble with the different telephone plugs
