  1. 5 Tips to Stay Committed to Your Training Routine

  2. Stay Committed to Your Training Routine • You already know you need to start moving and start working out. • But how do you stay committed to your training routine? How will you motivate yourself and stay on track of your fitness goals? • The key is to not stop even if you feel it's taking too long for results to show or when you're feeling bored.

  3. To Help you out, Here are some Important Tips to Stay Committed to your Training Routine:

  4. Set Realistic Goals • While it's good to set a long-term goal, it might turn out to be overwhelming. Start with small, achievable goals that will lead you to your bigger goals. • Avoid feeling frustrated and be honest about what you can only commit yourself to. If you're looking to join a 10km run before the year ends, start by walking more every day. • Use the stairs, walk your pets, or run with your friends or family. You can also target a 5km run for your first try. If you experience pain or discomfort during exercises, take note of that and consult a health or fitness professional.

  5. Make Your Training a Part of Your Everyday Routine • Exercises do not have to take so much of your time, nor do they have to feel taxing. You don't have to be in your work-out gears to stretch your muscles. • During your office or school break, walk to the park. Bond with your kids by including them in your work-outs. There are age-appropriate exercises for kids too. • You get to play with them and at the same time, they also learn about physical fitness early on

  6. Write Notes • Remind yourself how lucky you are for the opportunity to work out on your own. Stick notes on your bedside mirror, office desk, or refrigerator. • Maintain a positive mindset no matter how challenging your every day gets. Remember too that it's okay to be flexible. If you're feeling unwell, take a rest. • If you miss a day of working out, you can always get back on track the next day or as soon as you start to feel better.

  7. Partner With a Personal Trainer • A personal trainer will help you stay committed to your fitness routine. They will help you develop a program that suits your goals, needs, and lifestyle. • You can be confident that the exercises you're performing will give you the results you're looking for, and are all safe. • While you're at it, choose a trainer that you feel comfortable with so you won't hesitate to discuss any concerns you may have.

  8. Reward Yourself • Your trainer will also approve of this. Don't be too hard on yourself. If you've been hitting your goals, go and get yourself a little reward. • It can be a serving of your favorite dessert, a new book, or even a new pair of running shoes. • Make your fitness journey fun and more memorable.
