  3. /CH/ SOUND Have you ever heard a train say, ‘choo, choo’? Let’s practice the mouth move that the /ch/ sound makes Let’s say it together…CHOO, CHOO!!! REMEMBER: Pull the horn, and say ‘choo, choo’!

  4. A Tongue Twister - /ch/ Let’s practice the /ch/ sound with a tongue twister “Charlie challenged Chip to a chewing gum contest.” Let’s say it 2 times Let’s now stretch out the /ch/ sound –

  5. Writing Practice Take out paper and pencil We use the letters /c/ and /h/ to spell the sound /ch/ Let’s practice how to write them To write a little c, start like little a. Go up and touch the fence, then around and up. To write a little h, start at the rooftop, come down, and hump over.

After reading, let’s write down a few words we heard from the book.
