Arrival & Dismissal • Students should not be dropped off before 8:30 as there is no supervision • Students need to be in the classroom by 8:45 or will be marked as tardy • Repeated Tardies = Lunch Detention • Students are dismissed via announcements beginning at 3:10 • You must sign out your child when picking up • Please refer to Family Handbookfor ??

  5. Visiting Central • When visiting Central School, the doors are locked from 8:45 - 3:00 • Must buzz in • Sign in at the office • Wear a visitor’s badge to be identified • After school

  13. Homework Each teacher will post their individual assignments daily on their individual web sites Please be patient as we deal with new policies and procedures 5th Grade Late Policy

  14. Your child should be filling in assignment book daily Please review nightly and check that assignments are completed and returned to the proper folder. Your first assignment…. Please email me so that we have your email address. Assignment Book

  16. The List • Follow directions the first time given • Bring supplies to class • Complete assignments on time and have them readily available • Keep hands, feet, objects and negative comments to yourself • Raise your hand and wait for permission before talking out • Appropriate hallway behavior

  18. Absences • Please call the office if your child will be absent • Call by 8:45 a.m. • If your child is absent, you may request work through the office.

  19. Assignments After Absences • Students receive as many days as absent to make up work • The students, with assistance from the teacher, will be responsible to seek out missed assignments • Planned Absences…please notify the office • *Every day here is valuable!

Communicating Progress • Our grades will be posted online using Grade Book. • The District expectation is for grades to be posted by the midpoint of the quarter and at the end of the quarter. • Grade Book will serve as the interim report unless a hard copy is requested. • Passwords must be requested from the office.
