  2. English is the language of international communication for all humanity. English is the working language of air, sea and rail communications. Our project is bilingual. During the work on it we made the translation from English into Russian. We study at NON State Secondary Boarding School. We decided to consider the expanding role and importance of English in the development of transport communications and the possibility of a broader dialogue between Russia and Great Britain.

  3. We decided on an ambitious project, and created the route of the future "KrasnyKut - London", confident that this route will ever be another BRIDGE linking the peoples who speak different languages, but trying to understand each other.

  4. Aim: To prove that the role and importance of English as international language is growing with the development of transport communications between the two countries. Objectives: • To study the history of cooperation between Russian and British Railways. • To analyze the activities of employees of the Saratov depot on international routes from the point of view of their use of English. • To make a draft of the future route "Krasny-Kut - London." • To create a promotional booklet.

  15. Now both Britain and Russia are included into the International Union of the Rails. The working languages of it are English, French and German. The mission of it is to advance Rail Transport at global level. V. Yakuninthe president of Russian Railways is the member of the execute committee of International Union of the Rails.

  16. We have met with an employee of the Saratov depot Yu. V. Nechaev. We have learned about two international routes "Saratov-Berlin" and "Moscow-Berlin-Paris".

  17. We have also known about the preprofile preparation of future experts for work in these sphere of Rails. In connection with the development of globalization all employers including Russian Railways demand much of knowledge. One of them is the knowledge of a foreign language. On the 13 of June, 2011 the infrastructure Ministry reported on its official site that already 400 railroad workers passed a course on a foreign language within the frame of preparation for Euro – 2012.

  21. Conclusion: The objectives set out in the course of the project are achieved. We created a new route and a booklet. We were once again convinced that there is no cooperation and mutual understanding among people and nations without good knowledge of English.
