  2. Who We Are • Currently, there are 14 members of the TO sector • Transmission Owners have many commonalities • We have diverse business structures & regulatory oversight • Cooperatives, IOU’s with and without retail choice, T&D only, Transmission only, IPP with Transmission

Common Goals • With diversity the TO Sector sometimes differing viewpoints, however • TO Sector still shares many goals: • excellence in transmission system planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance, • planning for the needs of transmission customers, • ensuring safe and reliable service, • reducing system congestion, • efficiently and reliably interconnecting new generating resources, new load, and/or new transmission, and • providing efficient and cost effective transmission service to promote a lower overall cost of delivered energy
