  1. McLean Co. Train Yard Welcome to the McLean County Train Yard. This brochure will help you locate supplies, get repairs, or find a place to rest. As you arrive in the yard, supplies are located on the west side of the yard. Refilling your sand bucket is easily done as you first enter. Engineers needing coal can find the chute just north of the sand house. Receipts for sand or coal purchases must be taken to the office on the east side of the yard. If you would like to rest, park your train on an empty track on the east side. After you have finished parking, make appointments with the office secretary. On the date of your appointment, bring your engine to the South House by 7 A.M. Services available from the Engine house are: boiler repair; oil and lubrication; paint refinishing; and metalwork. Estimates can be obtained from the House foreman. I hope this brochure has been helpful in familiarizing you with the McLean Country Train Yard. Any further questions you have can be brought to the Train Yard office.
