  1. ANIMALS IN EXTINCTION DANGER STUDENTS: ASTRID NAVARRO CORREA NICOLE TORRES TAMAYO ALEJANDRA NIETO HUERTA ANA HERNÁNDEZ DÍAZ COURSE:3ºA

  2. ANIMALS IN EXTINCTION DANGER They exist more than thirty million species animals and different vegetables. Of these thirty million, 16,177 are in extinction danger and 40,600 already have been extinguished. EXTINCTION DEGREE There are four categories to indicate the degree in which the species are threatened of extinction. These categories are: - SPECIES IN DANGER: A species is it when its amount so is reduced that or its habitat so reduced that it will disappear for always if special attention is not lent to him. - Marsupial Lobo (thylacinus cynocephalus) - Foca monk India (monachus tropicalis) - Foca common monk (monachus monachus) - RARE SPECIES: Its number is reduced or live so in reduced spaces or so unusual atmospheres, that they could disappear in just a short time. - Hawaiana Foca monk (monachus schauinslandi) PICTURES

  3. OTHER ANIMALS IN EXTINCTION DANGER Threatened mammals: - MOORISH SPROCKET WHEEL (erinaceus algirus) - EXCESS (galemys pyrenaisus) - The IBERIAN AWKWARD PERSON (talpa western) - MUSARAÑA OF OSORIO (crocidura osorio) - BAT PATUDO (myotis capaccini) ANIMALS IN EXTINCTION DANGER (continuation) - ANTELOPE SAIGA (saiga tatarica). Animal in critical danger. It lives in flocks in the deserts and steppes on central Asia. - WILD CAMEL “BACTRIANO” (camelus bactrianus). Considered in critical danger. It has his main bastion in the Chinese, where its natural habitat always is invaded by the mining activity. - THE ETHIOPIAN WATER MOUSE. Only the source is known by a species found near a small abbai, affluent of the Nile. - SEA HORSE OF TIGER TAIL (ippocampus you eat). He is white of fishermen by the benefit that this species offers for medicinal use and aquariums. - The VULTURE DEPICO DELGADO (gyps tenuirostris). - THE INDIAN VULTURE. - THE MARINE MINK. Sight for the last time in 1.860 - GANSO “SHELDGOOSE”. It was extinguished in 1.710 - TIGER OF SIBERIA. Hunted by its skin. They are left 200 units. - GIANT OTTER. Captured by its skin. They are left few hundreds in Argentina.

  4. - CROCODILE OF THE NILE. Persecuted by its skin. - IBERIAN IMPERIAL EAGLE. They are left 150 pairs in freedom. - MARINE TURTLE.Offered in luxury restaurants. - GORILA OF MOUNTAIN. They are left 200 units in Africa. - SCARLET GUCAMAYO. - AFRICAN BLACK RHINO. They are left 2000 units. - BULGING GIANT. Used in zoological and desired by its skin. They are left 1000 units anywhere in the world - FALSE MARINE TURTLE - MARINE TURTLE VERDE - JACARE - BELL VIPER - CREOLE DUCK - TURKEY HEN DEMONTE - FLAMENCO - CROW - MIR IT - COATÍ - LOBITO OF RIVER - FIELD DEER - BLUE WHALE - WHALE JOROBADA - THE GUEPARDO - THE PANTHER

  6. EXTINCTION OF THE SPECIES BASIC CONCEPTS Charles Darwin demonstrated that the extinction of a species is a evolucionario process. In fact, a constant rate of extinction is a normal process in the course of the evolution and it knows itself with the name of “rate of bottom extinction”. Many biologists think that we are immersed in the greater episode of extinction in mass from the disappearance of the dinosaurios makes 65 million years. The key of the extinction is the change in the physical or biological atmosphere. But the vulnerability depends on many factors: population, geographic distribution, reproductive capacity, ecological relations and characteristic genetics. HOW IT AFFECTS TO US So that we must save the species in danger? The disappearance of the species in danger is not a simple tragedy, but a symptom of a planetary catastrophe. The first main argument to save the species in danger is that the simple compassion demands its conservation. Secondly, other species must of being conserved by their beauty, symbolic value and intrinsic interest. A third argument is economic. By the animal conservation in danger it is possible to obtain annual economic benefits harvesting of a way of maintained production. The last argument most important and is less included/understood since it implies indirect benefits to the humanity. Other species are component living of the ecosystems that provide to the humanity with numerous free services (services that if they become disorganized will produce the collapse of the civilization).
