  2. More Spelling Tricks • The ‘oy’ sound is spelled ‘oy’ at the end of the word eg. Boy. If sound is in the middle it is spelled ‘oi’ eg. Toil • The ‘ay’ sound is spelled ‘ay’ at the end of the word eg. Tray. If sound is in the middle it is spelled ‘ai’.
