  1. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16)

  2. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Timothy 3:16)

  3. From The Old Testament To The New Testament All Scripture Is For our Profit

  4. The Old Testament Begins with Creation (Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. In the Old Testament we read of: Abraham Noah Adam & Eve Blood Sacrifices The Tabernacle Prophecies of the Messiah

  5. The Old Testament Contains 12 Books of History 5 Books of Law 5 Books of Poetry 12 Minor Prophets 5 Major Prophets

  6. The Old Testament Was Good Yet It Had A Weakness (Romans 8:3) For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: (Romans 8:4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

  7. The Flesh Needed Help Jesus Would Provide That Help Through His Holy Spirit

  8. The Old Testament Promise (Ezekiel 11:19) And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: (Ezekiel 11:20) That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

  9. (Ezekiel 36:26) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:27) And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

  10. (Hebrews 10:1) For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (Hebrews 10:4) For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. (Hebrews 10:10) By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (Hebrews 10:12) But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

  11. (Hebrews 10:14) For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. (Hebrews 10:15) Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, (Hebrews 10:16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (Hebrews 10:17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

  12. About The OldTestament The Apostle Paul Wrote: Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24) The examples, the teachings, the principals of the Old Testament are all there to point us to Jesus and cause us to believe in Him. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (Galatians 3:25)

  13. The Old Testament is still good to read, to study, and to learn from. In it are found good examples, good principals, and good teachings, that should cause us to live right. Its purpose is to point us to Faith in Jesus and To Be Filled With His Spirit.

  15. (John 7:37) … Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. (John 7:39) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

  16. While Jesus Was Here On Earth He Would: - INTRODUCE HIS KINGDOM - - INSTRUCT HIS FOLLOWERS - To Preach the Kingdom - Shed His Blood and Give His Life - So That We Could Enter Into His Kingdom - And CommandHIS FOLLOWERS - To Wait for The Promise That Would Allow Them Access To His Kingdom.

(John 14:16) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:18) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

  19. In The Same Chapter Jesus said: (John 14:26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

  20. (Acts 1:4) And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. (Acts 1:5) For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. “Jesus”

  21. Jesus said: (Acts 1:8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
