Halls Supervised, students from different courses Limits are imposed -> not everyone appreciates it Student flats More independence Individual or communal With friends or strangers But flat mates don’t always respect each other Life at University
  20. Living at University Alone or with other students “You learn to respect each other and to gain respect” No parents! No wake-up call! No cook! No house maid! You have to do your own washing, cooking, cleaning,… You have to manage your own money! Life at University
