  3. The Bronze Washbasin Exodus 30:17–21 17 Then the Lord said to Moses, 18 “Make a bronze washbasin with a bronze stand. Place it between the Tabernacle and the altar, and fill it with water. 19 Aaron and his sons will wash their hands and feet there. 20 They must wash with water whenever they go into the Tabernacle to appear before the Lord and when they approach the altar to burn up their special gifts to the Lord—or they will die! 21 They must always wash their hands and feet, or they will die. This is a permanent law for Aaron and his descendants, to be observed from generation to generation.”

Washed to Serve the Lord • Hebrews 10:22 - “let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” • Priests bathed their entire body when ordained (Exodus 29:4). • Priests had to wash their hands and feet every time they entered the tent of meeting or approached the bronze altar, or they would die (Exodus 30:19–21).

Washed to Serve as a Priest 1 Peter 2:5 “Being built into a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 we are a “Royal Priesthood.” Priests served God and His people. We are a Priesthood of believers. We are called to serve God and man!

  7. Washed to serve as a slave Matthew 20:27-29 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Jesus came to Serve “Son of Man” We must become a Slave “rights” Equal in service “first”

  8. Coming Into His Presence Holy Pure Serve If they did not wash, they would die!

  9. Serve in His Presence • John 13:8-10"You will never wash my feet—ever!" Peter said. Jesus replied, "If I don't wash you, you have no part with Me.” Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.” "One who has bathed," Jesus told him, "doesn't need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you." ALL OF ME LORD

  10. The Hands and Feet of Jesus • Luke 24:38-40 “He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.” When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet His Hands and Feet Served Us upon the Cross!
