  3. 1 KhudriDates One of the most common types of dates available in the market is Khudri dates. These dates are dark brown in colour, moderately wrinkled, sweet in taste and have flaky skin. They are abundant in vitamins, minerals and natural fibres. Khudri dates come with a reasonable price tag.

  4. 2 SagaiDates Being naturally sweet and soft, Sagai dates are liked by people across the globe. These dates are rich in vitamin C and D. What makes Sagai dates different from others is its two-toned skin ie, brown body and golden base. These dates are too wrinkly. 

  5. 3 BarhiDates Barhiis known to be the smallest and fragile dates available in the market today. These dates are abundant in vitamins, flavonoids, minerals, and antioxidants. Barhi dates are very popular because of their butterscotch candy flavour.

  6. 4 MedjoolDates Hailed as the “fruit of Kings’’ Medjool dates are deep brown in colour and taste like caramel. Being rich in fructose, these dates are intensely sweet and delicious. However, Medjool dates are very expensive.

  7. 5 KhenaiziDates Khenaizi dates are one of the best sellers in the Middle East. These dates are soft, delicious and have a wrinkled texture. Khenaizi dates are affordable compared to other dates varieties.

  8. 6 FardDates Fard dates is a market leader when it comes to sweet and waxy dates. Being rich in calcium and protein, Fard dates are used in energy bars.

  9. 7 LuluDates Lulu dates are semi-dried dates that appear to be light brown in colour and resembles a plum fruit. These dates are delicious and come with an affordable price tag.
