  2. Make the ball float. Predictions are good and help validate your measurements Think about who you have 3 volume tools. Do not bounce the ball (-5 points for group) (-5 points) Do not put solid salt in the graduated cylinder. Solutions are never created in grad cylinders. Don't mix salt in water using a graduated cylinder. Graduated cylinders are great for measuring volumes precisely. Beakers are great for containing larger volumes and stuff. Do not dump your whole NaCl sample in the beaker (-5 points). Do not add too much salt to your beaker -- wait for it to dissolve...stir…… (-5 points) Do not put your beaker on the electronic balance. Keep careful track of your steps so that you can finalize your procedure later Repeat the experiment if necessary If lost, read the purpose and the procedure hints again Do not divide mass of salt by volume of solution Please do one report per lab group for this lab.
