FY 2014 Base Request • Project Title: Current expense backfill • Strategic Priority: Improve student access and success • Dollars Requested: $23,152 $19,000 for annual campus visits, summer career exploration & college preparation workshops. $4,152 indirect funds Justification: • The DOE has announced that this year all TRiO programs will have to reduce their budget by 8.2% and this reduction will continue throughout this funding cycle. Based on our annual project award, we will need to reduce our budget by approximately $19,000 each year. • Return the amount of indirect returned to TS by SLCC to the original 50% instead of the reduced amount of 25%. • Project Outcome Measurements • High School graduation rates and college enrollment rates.
