  3. Scriptural Justification: James 5:16 Goal: To exist for the purpose of disciplining the new, young, or troubled believer into a mature walk with the Lord.

  4. Ministry Plan: PCMYear of our Lord: 2013Prayer Circle Facilitator PCF • A Prayer Circle Facilitator is a mature believer who mentors and disciples a small group of believers (consisting of usually five people or less) for a period of up to two years.

  5. PCFs meet with their mentees at least once per month and guide them through an interactive Bible Study to help the new believers grow and develop an intimate relationship with the Lord.

  6. The Prayer Circle Facilitator also addresses mentee’s prayer requests and makes himself/herself available to answer questions and assist the mentee in growing in the Lord and connecting in the local church

  7. Prayer Circle Prayer Circle Facilitators are chosen by Pastor Karen and the leadership in light of their demonstration of a mature walk with the Lord and their capacity to lead and care for others in line with biblical principals.

  8. Mentee • As a Prayer Circle Mentee you will receive monthly contact and encouragement from a caring, mature believer and Bible study assignments to help you become stronger in your walk with the Lord. • Mentees will meet with PCFs each month to share and review the Bible study lesson, and receive prayer support and encouragement. Mentees have direct access to PCFs via phone/email. • Mentees should make PCFs aware of any challenges, concerns, or experiences that may be hindering their walkand be open to Biblical counsel and encouragement
