The normal working method to produce ETSI standards is by voluntary contribution of the Members in the Committees, however, ETSI can contract experts to set-up STFs STFs are funded from the ETSI budget, EC/EFTA Vouchers, voluntary contributions from Members STF experts normally work together in sessions in the ETSI premises of Sophia Antipolis The reference TB has the technical responsibility for the STF and approves their deliverables The ETSI Secretariat provides management support, technical supervision and office facilities The STF concept An STF is a group of experts working together to draft urgent deliverables or to perform special tasks on behalf of an ETSI Technical Body
