  2. What are Arthropods? Arthropods are Invertebrates which means they do not have backbones. They belong in Phylum Arthropoda . Phylum Arthropoda is a Greek word which means joint feet.

  3. What do they eat? Arthropods eat animals and plant both dead an alive. Many Arthropods have cutting and chewing mouthparts. Some Arthropods who feeds on fluids have mouths modified for sucking.

  4. Reproduction Arthropods reproduce by mating. Most Arthropods lay eggs but some do not lay eggs like the scorpion.

  5. Where do they live? Arthropods live virtually every habitat. They can live in cold waters and hot desserts. They could live in extreme conditions that would kill most vertebrates.

  6. Examples of Arthropods Here are some examples of arthropods: Scorpion Crabs Shrimp Spiders And a lot more!

  7. Facts about it Scorpions can survive after being frozen for days. There are 1.1 million arthropods which makes them the biggest group in the animal kingdom. Aphids are born Pregnant. Bedbugs can survive without eating for one year.
