  4. Economic Benefits • 6,100 jobs • $30+ million in total incentives • $97.2 million net tax benefits • $8+ million toward sewer upgrade • $681 million in sales to local businesses

  5. Potential Loss • County would have to reimburse K. Hovnanian $1,390,000 for purchased sewer allocation and user fees • County would lose another $7,500,000 towards repayment of the new sewer treatment facility • County would need to construct a water tower or other water storage facilities at a cost of up to $1,400,000

Important Reminders • In designated Growth Area as a State Priority Funding Area (only 6% of QA County) • Located outside 100 Year Flood Plain; one of the highest elevations on Kent Island • Received approvals from: • Critical Area Commission • Maryland Department of the Environment • Every state regulatory agency
