  1. BGC College: Disproving Some Myths on MBBS in Bangladesh For many Indian medical students, an MBBS in Bangladesh acts as a good backup option as the medical colleges here offer the same quality and pattern of education, but at a fraction of the price. This makes it a preferred destination for many. However, there are still certain misconceptions and myths pertaining to this prospect. These often act as obstacles, preventing many from coming to Bangladesh for higher education. This post tries to disprove some of these myths by taking the BGC College as an example of the fine services offered by Bangladeshi institutions. MBBS in Bangladesh is Not that Developed This is NOT AT ALL the case, at least for the top medical colleges/universities of Bangladesh. Time and again, these have proved that their ultimate aim is offering “Quality-based” learning for the students. The curriculum is designed in such a way that contributes positively to academic performance, overall personality development, and equal growth opportunities for all students irrespective of nationality, religion, economic background, gender, etc. In the case of BGC College, the classrooms are tech-enabled and fitted with the latest audio-visual (AV) equipment and other modern teaching aids. www.mbbsadmissionabroad.in

  2. Not Much Scope in Terms of Academics Calling MBBS in Bangladesh a land of LESS to NO Opportunities is a Travesty! Taking the example of just the BGC, it can be proven otherwise. To start off, it offers dedicated departments for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Thus, this college offers UG and PG courses for all these subjects. Apart from the sciences, students can also study social sciences, physical education, and other multi-disciplinary courses. Apart from quality studies in the class, students are also trained to carry out analytical and empirical research as well as micro-studies in all subjects, whether it’s arts, commerce, or science subjects. This very well aligns with the ultimate goal of the BGC College which focuses on imparting knowledge as well as helping develop the requisite skills among the students. The focus isn’t just on studying the courses but also on the following - 1. Environmental Education 2. Ecological Consciousness and Awareness 3. Value Education So concluding all that has been said here, this college (just like the others in Bangladesh) ensures that students aren’t just trained to become efficient and trained medical professionals but also socially aware and conscious citizens of the world. MBBS in Bangladesh Universities are Not Safe The “developing” nature and size of Bangladesh can often throw people off as in many might believe that the medical colleges in Bangladesh aren’t up-to-the-mark, infrastructure or safety-wise, let alone in terms of quality of services. However, that is NOT the case in terms of MBBS in Bangladesh. We’ve already covered how good of an educational destination Bangladesh is and thus over here, we shall debunk the “lack of safety” and “poor infrastructure” myths of the colleges here. Taking the example of BGC College, the university is spacious and well constructed, having multimedia classrooms and state-of-the-art facilities. It’s open to everyone, irrespective of nationality, religion, gender, etc. In fact, one of the major aims of this college is to increase female participation here. Whether it’s the curriculum or pedagogy, these are continuously upgraded to fit the changing requirements of global medical practices. www.mbbsadmissionabroad.in

  3. Apart from that, students can approach the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and a Gender Sensitization Committee against Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) following the guidelines of the 2013 Act. Furthermore, there’s also a strict “Anti-Ragging Policy” (anti ragging affidavit to be filled compulsorily to be registered in the university) and “Psychological Counseling” for the students every Friday (can take on other days too) So if we were, to sum up, everything that has been said above, it won’t be wrong to say that an MBBS in Bangladesh is a great, safe, and 100% genuinely good option for Indian medical aspirants.
