  3. 1.According to the article, where are roses grown? • According to the article, roses are grown in Ecuador, thanks to the volcanic soil, perfect temperatures and abundant sunlight.

  4. 2. What kind of illnesses do the workers get from working in the farm? • People who work on the rose fields may get respiratory problems, conjunctivitis, miscarriages and rashes

  5. 3. What chemicals cause illnesses? • Among the most dangerous chemicals are captan, aldicarb and fenamiphos. These chemicals are very dangerous and can harm people who work on rose fields.

  6. 4. How much do the workers get a month? • The average flower worker earns more than the $120-a-month minimum wage.

  7. 5. As a Christian, how will you treat your workers if you are the owner of the farm? • If I were to be the owner of the farm, I would treat my workers with great respect. I will also provide them the necessary things they need such as medical aid and child day care for mothers and fathers. I will also get a better doctor and make the plants much safer to be picked by the workers.
