Woman in Transcontinental Transport • The Co-Operative consists of various consortiums representing Women • Rural Areas • Townships • Urban Areas • The Co-Operative has Targeted The Following: • Nine Hundred Companies • 10 women in each company • All Nine Provinces • 9,000 Members • 1,000 per Province

Operations Within all Sectors of Transport • Public Transport • Busses • Taxis • Scholar Transport • Meter Taxis • Maritime • Shipping Vessels • Ports Operations • Freight • Export Contracts • Warehousing Shipping • Imports and Exports • Internal Dry Docks • Trucking • Long Haul Trucking • Short Distances from Harbour to Warehousing • Rail • Transportation for Rail Commuters • Aviation • Medical Evacuation

  5. Aims and Objectives • Promote and raise awareness of Women participating in Transport • Establish Businesses within the Transport Sector Owned and Operated by Women • Encourage Women and stakeholders to work towards sustainability within the transport sector

Public Transport • Public Transport • Busses • Taxis • Scholar Transport • Meter Taxis • Economically, sectors have been separated and WTT aims to deliver services that integrate transport, development, tourism, retail and employment. The public transport should link passengers with their work locations, scholars with schools, tourists with sightseeing, shoppers with shopping malls, traders with customers and communities with each other.

Maritime • Maritime • Shipping Vessels • Ports Operations • Training Academy's • WTT has negotiated a stake holding and further development within the Maritime sector, which will see them operating their own Shipping Vessels. They will also establish a Training Academy, training both local and international Women within the maritime sector

  8. Freight • Freight • Export Contracts • Warehousing Shipping • Imports and Exports • Internal Dry Docks • WTT has negotiated various contracts to ship and transport various goods to and from the Country

  9. Trucking • Trucking • Long Haul Trucking • Short Distances from Harbour to Warehousing • WTT has negotiated various contracts for Long Haul and Short Haul Transportation within the mining sector. • The first contract involves a total of 120 trucks to transport coal.

  10. Rail • Rail • Transportation for Rail Commuters • WTT is still exploring this arena of operations and has made good progress within the sector.

  11. Aviation • Aviation • Medical Evacuation • WTT is in negotiation with various stake holders within South Africa and Africa to operate as an Airline, specialising in Medical Evacuations.

In A Nut Shell • WTT has come a long way from humble beginnings and hopes with the support from the National Department of Transport and all Other Stake Holders within Government and the Private Sector, to achieve their goals and objectives within realistic time frames. • WTT will unite many women in this country by Empowering them to become stake holders in multiple sectors of the Transport Industry and other related sectors.
