  2. WHY TAKEAN EDUCATIONAL TOUR? Brings the classroom alive with “hands-on” experience with the language & culture It develops heightened interest in learning Students gain valuable life skills through independent exploration Opens acceptance to other cultures & ways of life Reinforces lessons taught Great enhancement on college applications & resumes Most important of all, it’s fun!

  3. WHY do a family-stay program? When living with a host-family, the language you are learning quickly becomes more than words in a school book! Meet local people and have an excellent opportunity to practice the language in real-life situations. Host families are chosen with the utmost care for their kindness, hospitality and lively personalities. All families have been referred by someone already part of the host-family community. Homes are regularly visited to assure that a safe, clean and comfortable environment is provided. Students are placed 2 and sometimes 3, per family. You will receive a detailed description of your families about 2 - 3 weeks prior to your visit.
