  2. What is draft-ietf-webdav-quota? WebDAV servers are frequently deployed with quota (size) limitations. This Internet-Draft discusses the properties and minor behaviors needed for clients to interoperate with quota implementations on WebDAV repositories.

  3. What’s new in -02? • DAV:quota-limit-bytes replaced with DAV:quota-available-bytes, aligning it with NFS DAV:quota-limit-bytes - DAV:quota-used-bytes = quota_avail_hard quota-limit was originally chosen so that it would be a “fixed” value, but as Stefan Eissing pointed out, this wouldn’t be the case when the free space on the server goes below a user’s quota.

  4. DAV:quota-limit-bytes Example quota-used 0 free space 5GB quota-limit 0+5GB = 5GB quota-used 0 free space 4GB quota-limit 0+4GB = 4GB

  5. DAV:quota-available-bytes • is the value in octets representing the amount of additional disk space beyond the current allocation that can be allocated to this file or directory before further allocations will be refused. It is understood that this space may be consumed by allocations to other files or directories.
