  2. Fishing is Fun for Family, and for Relaxation, ……. • Minnesota is the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Actually MN has 15,291 Lakes , each is 10 acres or more. • MN is the Best Fishing State in US • MN ranked #1 in owning Boats. • MN’s State Fish “Walleye” is the most delicious fresh water fish.

  4. Climate and Timing… • 气候往往是钓鱼成败的主要因素，很多人不择时机，只等有空时才去下水试两竿，结果常常败兴而归，捧个黄鼠狼回来。适于钓鱼的天气是：1。气压高而且稳定，2。西南或南风吹縐湖面，3。不测风云到来之前夕，4。气压下降且西风徐来之际。不适于钓鱼的天气是：1。东北风猛吹，全湖遍翻白浪，2。低气压，3。寒潮过境时。

  5. 阴天或者是微风吹縐湖面时也常是钓鱼的佳期，因为风吹浪打降低了光线穿透的深度，将鱼群引近水面，而且风浪增加了水中的氧气。随着风向，水中的小鱼和其它食物会被吹到浅水，石滩和水草岸边，使这些地方成为大鱼聚餐胜地。当然风太大，引起所谓白浪（White Cap）就过于危险，不宜下船。

  9. 钓鱼常识知多少 • 在良辰美景之际找到热门鱼洞之后，能不能满载而归就要看钓鱼人的本领了，人的因素成为关键。他应该知道钓鼓目鲈鱼时必须将鱼饵沉到水底，春天用活鱼苗，夏天用蚂蝗，秋天用蚯蚓为饵，有风时用顺风飘船法，无风时用马达驱船逆水行舟来回巡廻，引鱼上钓。钓大小嘴鲈鱼应该在沙或石底的水域作业，岸边的树最好是松柏之类的常青树。想钓卡拉啤（Crappie）最好的饵是小鱼苗，或是一种名叫Mini Jig 的人造饵，其构造是在一个1/16 – 1/32啢重的铅（钢）球钩子上穿上裙状软朔料尾巴。
