  2. Acer ConceptD 5 Pro Review: Huge Power Meets The Mediocre Design Acer is known for producing affordable laptops with decent power. But Acer also released a high-performance range laptop in 2019, which performed well in the market. The laptop was designed specifically for the developers, filmmakers, graphic designers, creators, and many other professionals. Acer launched the ConceptD 5 Pro with the 15.6-inches 4K display screen and 2.6HGz Core i7 processor along with the NvidiaQuadro RTX 3000 graphics card. Acer is shipping this laptop with the fantastic 32GB RAM, 2815mAh battery, and 512GB storage, which is enough for performing any professional work.  The laptop has no optical drive, but it has ports like USB 2 and 3, HDMI, USB-C, and ethernet for the connectivity. The placement of the power input makes it an odd device.  One of the most noticeable points or one of the downfalls of this laptop is its weight. The weight of this laptop is 2.9kg, which is heavier than the average weight of today’s generation laptops. Most companies are preparing portable systems, but the 5 Pro isn’t designed for carrying anywhere.

The laptop doesn’t produce any kind of sound when you work.Acer has added a large screen that can help you in video editing and performing other professional work.  The laptop has the concept Palette UI tool that can allow you to monitor the performance of the GPU, CPU, and memory resources. The tool helps you to track the strain taken by the system, checks the temperature, and enables you to arrange the desktop for the multitasking purpose.  The laptop supports both Windows 10 and “Tablet Mode.” The Tablet Mode is a confusing feature because it has a non-touch display. If you have the habit of using the laptop or tablets with larger icons, then “Tablet Mode” might prove a useful tool.  The backlit keyboard is excellent, and you might feel pleasure while typing on this laptop. But you might find that trackpad is quite clumsy. The trackpad is not located in the center of the keyboard, so if you are currently working on a laptop that has the trackpad in the center, then this device will give you a new experience.  The Acer ConceptD 5 Pro is a powerhouse laptop. If you are working from your home and need a robust and compact laptop, it will prove a decent choice. The Acer gives a 720-pixel webcam that is a great option for the video meetings, but you might find that the battery life is not as expected. The device offers six hours of battery backup, which is not as per the expectation.
