What’s New? • Safety Group has a new admin assistant Andrea Kakchaev • Andrea can be reached at adminassist@osach.ca • Andrea’s responsibilities to SG:- monitor, collect & FU on reports due to WSIB- assist in prep for meetings- enter and submit all data info to WSIB- prepare minutes & post info on SG website

Spot-checks • 10% of each safety group randomly selected for spot-checks • Letters are going out to those firms selected • May receive a call prior to receiving a letter • Arrange meeting time up to 4 hours • Review documentation from year-end achievement report • Provide copy of my spot-check report, observations & final score • Meet & interview employees

  13. New firms • Each element is worth 20% • All 5 steps must be complete to achieve 20% • Hints • Be prepared • Have documentation available & organized • Consider who should be in attendance • Let your staff know about the spot-check
