  2. Fossils are usually 3,000 years old and are found in the ground. A body fossil is a bug trapped in amber a type of tree sap. Fossils

  3. Microscope Microscopes uses visible light and water more lenses to magnify very small objects. A microscope has a stage that has a hole in it.

  4. Plants make their own food in a process called photosynthesis. Xylem is wood in trees that helps plants drink up water from the soil. Plants

  5. Maps We learned how to read maps and find all the states. We also learned how to memories where all the states are.

  6. Cities Cities are a big group of buildings. Sometimes there can be over 100 buildings and over 200 people living in the cities.

  7. Legend We learned that a legend can help you learn all the boundaries. It also helps you figure out what all the symbols are and mean.

  8. Symbols Symbols are on a legend help you find out how densley populated a state is. It also tells us if there’s a desert somewhere in the state or country.
