  2. Introduction • CRS is an experienced industry leader in voucher fair methodology • Voucher fairs are preferable to direct distribution, but time consuming • Preparation, implementation, and analysis time could be reduced with ICT4D • Use of technology can be scaled up

  3. Project Background Projet de Réponse à la CriseAlimentaire (PRCA) Total 23 seed fairs (10,000 beneficiaries) from February to July 2011 The last 5 will use ICT4D solution (2,500 beneficiaries)

  4. Project Background Normal registration and verification method: Paper, paper, paper! • Beneficiary registration • Beneficiary check-in • Voucher verification • Day-of and post-fair surveys

  6. ICT Solution • Use of iPod touch devices with integrated barcode scanner from “Linea-Pro” • Cloud base platform for data collection using iFormBuilder application • BarTenderEnterprise software for barcode design and printing
