  8. The only problem is DEN!! • DER goes to DEN! The rest stay the same. • EIN (referring to DER) changes to EINEN When?? ONLY if… • NOTHING ELSE CHANGES THEY ARE DIRECT OBJECTS IN THE SENTENCE. OTHERWISE LEAVE THEM ALONE.
