LowBeta Optics Measurement • On January 26, 2008 used ~4 hours of proton only time to take the following data • Orbit Response Measurement on proton helix • Orbit Response Measurement on central orbit • Orbit Response Measurement on simulated pber helix • Turn-by-turn on central orbit • Turn-by-turn on proton helix • This was first time we ever got pbar helix data

Summary • Analysis of luminosity behavior suggested that large CDF/D0 luminosity ratio was explained by D* at D0 • This was confirmed by optics measurement • Based on the results of optics measurement a correction was developed with the following conditions • Keep values of b * at CDF and D0 equal • Reduce D*x at D0 • Keep the required tune changes minimal • Avoid large helix changes • The correction has been implemented EOS 5887 and Store 5891. Luminosity ratio since store 5891 is between 1 and 3% • History of optics changes indicates high sensitivity to orbit stability (single LB quad 60mm -> 1mm in arcs)
