  1. OUR EXPECTATIONS By combining BAE Systems Avionics and Galileo Avionica, Finmeccanica has created Europe’s second largest defence electronics business. The new Business has operations in Italy, England, Scotland and the United States specialising in world-class integrated sensor solutions. The Company is a leader in surveillance, protection, tracking, targeting, imaging systems and avionic suites. Key technologies include airborne sensors, avionics and mission systems, electronic warfare systems, electro-optical systems, military lasers and unmanned aerial vehicles Since Thamus offers services to the Finmeccanica group, we are very interested in developing technical lexis and terminology. OUR EXPECTATIONS • In particular our interest refers to : • Multilinguism • Multiwords (including very long and complex multiple-word combinations as well as anomalous ones) • Multimediality (for example: word-image links) • Concepts/objects order arrangement (for facilitating any search of parts relating to an apparatus) • Compatibility with automatic and assisted translation systems • Possible integration with any Simplified English suggestor • Usability through internet, pocket PCs, etc. Un Consorzio
