  12. Your Mission • analyze your teaching style • think outside the “box” • think of how to use the Multiple Intelligence theory to reach all your students +

  13. At this point in the slide show I gave my workshop participants their “assignment” for their staff development day. They were to make CyberHunt “cards” of 3 - 4 questions to use in the classroom. The bonus question was based on the multiple intelligence theory of learning. (Summarize by writing a poem, finding clip art, creating a rap, doing a dance, etc.). These were due at the end of the day in printed and digital form to share. Now the students had “cards” to review, use as a bonus, or for the dreaded “Now what?” question. I cycled around the classrooms to help and we all met at the end of the day to share and evaluate. Note to my VCU Class:

  14. Your Mission - a CD Note

  15. Elementary Share Teacher_Share > CD_Notes Templates TEmplates

  16. Share your CD_Notes! • Create two “CD Notes” in any content area - using any CD that you choose. • Name your CD Notes with a recognizable title or SOL number (ex: CD_Note 3.9 WaterCycle) • Print out one copy for your GRADE LEVEL person to post in the faculty room. • Drag a copy of your “CD Notes” to the TEACHER_SHARE > CD Notes Finished ... and store by grade level and content. (3-CDNotes - Science)

  17. Questions? • Create your notes • Print one copy to put in faculty room • Drag digital copy to TEACHER_SHARE • Meet back in library at 2:15
