  1. Materials Needed: • Student Worksheet • 2 computers set to this slide so the students can use the links. Station #1: Reading the Geologic Time Scale Answer the questions using the geologic time scale on these websites • Enchanted Learning Geologic time scale • Geologic Time Scale (using analogies to explain how old the earth is and basic info) • Geologic Time Scale (uses many different Geologic Timelines)

  2. Materials Needed: • Student Worksheet • Demo Box Station #2: Seafloor Spreading Using the box answer the questions on the worksheet. • For the demo, push the laminated papers into the box until just the top is showing. • Line up the the two laminated papers. • Pull the laminated papers out slowly at the same time. Separating them as you pull the out.

  7. Materials Needed: • Student Worksheet • Vocabulary Cards Station #7: Vocabulary Match Match the definition with the vocabulary word using the cards. Once they are sorted, record the definitions on your worksheet. You can do the cards (get from front) or do the QUIZLET OPTION
