  16. Do not use Wikipedia as a source Use books / journals / academic papers

  17. HARVARD • YOU MUST USE HARVARD REFERENCING • FAILURE TO DO SO AND IT WILL BE MARKED AS NOT BEING REFERENCED. • It’s easy type in mybu AND harvard – these are easy marks for every assignment.

  18. Then using this information and specifically incorporating relevant models, reflect upon the actual team development, dynamics and performance of the presentation team you worked with for assignment 1. • In particular, you should also make explicit reference to authoritative sources, to underpin your reflection, which as well as discussing the above points, should also evaluate how you felt and what you believe both you and the team could do to improve the quality of any future task of this kind.

  19. Bruce Wayne Tuckman

  20. Important You do not need to explain to me the model Just the year and the version ie Tuckman (1965) 4 Stages of Group Development or (1977) 5 Stages.

  23. An example • Forming: Individual behaviour is driven by a desire to be accepted by the others, and avoid controversy or conflict. Serious issues and feelings are avoided, and people focus on being busy with routines, such as team organisation, who does what, when to meet, etc

  24. Your presentation went outside the scope • Completer-Finishers are the people who see that projects are completed thoroughly. They ensure there have been no errors or omissions and they pay attention to the smallest of details. They are very concerned with deadlines and will push the team to make sure the job is completed on time. They are described as perfectionists who are orderly, conscientious, and anxious.

  25. Recommendations for future group tasks • what you believe both you and the team could do to improve the quality of any future task of this kind.

  26. Harvard & References Warning: if you don't use Harvard it will be marked as if there are no references !!! Range: Web (no more 1/3rd), Books, journals, etc. Search : mybu harvard
