  2. Testing Tip # 1 • Use your testing time wisely • Don't spend too much time on any one question.

  3. Testing Tip #2 • If you don't know an answer, mark the question and come back to it.

  4. Testing Tip #3 • Never change your answer unless you're positive you made a simple error. Your first instinct is usually right!

  5. Testing Tip #4 • Choose the one best answer. There may be two good answers, but one is most correct.

  6. Testing Tip #5 • Don't be too clever or imaginative with your answers. Always choose the most correct answer, even if it's not funny!

  7. Testing Tip #6 • If you don't know an answer, take a guess and mark the question so you can come back to It.

  8. Testing Tip #7 • If you get stuck, go to the end of the test and work your way to the front.

  9. Testing Tip #8 • If you are sure that at LEAST two of the answer are correct, you might go with "All of the Above" as the correct answer. A. Potential Energy B. Electrical Energy C. Mechanical Energy D. All of the Above

  10. Testing Tip #9 • Watch out for words like "always", "never", "all" and "every".

  11. Testing Tip #10 • Use the process of elimination. Cross out choices that won't work, and choose the one best answer. A. Potential Energy B. Electrical Energy C. Mechanical Energy D. Kinetic Energy

  12. Testing Tip #11 • Get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast before test day.

  13. Testing tip # 12 • Do a brain dump • Before you begin the test, take some scratch paper and write down everything you can think of about the subject. Then use your “brain dump” for notes when you get stuck

  14. Do your best!! • All you can expect from yourself is your best – when you are done, give yourself a pat on the back for showing HAWK Pride! • Perseverance • Responsibility • Integrity • Diversity • excellence
