  2. Thomas Edison early life and education. • Thomas Edison was born in Milan, Ohio at February 11, 1847 and grew up in Port Huron, Michigan. In school, Thomas often day dream. And his teacher was overhead calling him ``addled’’ Thomas was expelled in 3 months. Then Thomas recalled `` My mother was the making of me. She was so true, so sure of me and I felt I had something to live for, someone I must not disappoint.’’ After being expelled, the mother home schooled him.

  3. Thomas Edison most important work and invention. • Thomas Edison greatest invention was creating the light bulb. Because he was a telegrapher, he learned the basics of electricity which made it much easier for Thomas to create a light bulb.

  4. More interesting facts in Thomas Edison life. • Thomas Edison was a little bit deaf. He got this from his childhood days.Thomas Edison was famous for his following words, ‘Genius is one percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration’.Thomas Edison saved a three year old boy from being hit by the train. The father was so grateful that he trained Thomas Edison to become a telegrapher. • Thomas Edison created his laboratory when he was 10. He created the laboratory in his basement.
