This presentation aims to show the organizative structure and the functions of the general commissariat of aliens and documentation.However, and for a better vision, we consider it suitable explaining in a superficial way the Spanish police system,where the general commissariat assumes with an exlclusive character the competences in terms of borders control , alienism, illegal immigration and both spanish and aliens documentation.
