  3. Project Delphi • Named for the Delphi Method • An iterative forecasting method which relies on a panel of experts • Forecasts are generated over two or more rounds • After each round, experts review each others forecasts as well as the reasons provided for their judgments

Scope • Replace the existing spreadsheet and pivot tables • Incorporate same level of detail forecast entry that can roll up to the company level or down to the SKU level • There will be 3 forecast “types” • Trade / Revenue • Consignment • Inventory (samples, R&D, Trunk) • Access to all history loaded • A view of up to 24 months of forecast • The ability to define relationships between SKUs. (ie. SKU 2 will automatically calculate a forecast based on a formulaic relationship to SKU 1’s forecast) • Workflow control for forecast entry reminders and confirmations • Ability to determine which forecasts are calculated vsrequire manual input • Incorporate Purchased FG’s (Guide Wires, Chaperones, etc.) • Capitalize on additional Vanguard functionality (statistical methods, analytics, collaboration, etc.) • Complete by November 2, 2013
