GRIPPING HIS MOTHERS HAND,WILLING HER EYES TO OPEN, telling her every word possible about the changes on Florida beach .there was a big accident ,Jake did not like to talk about it. It was a long time since Jake could remember anything he was only six when it all happened. By now the sun was going down in the east of Florida, the cottage was full with that breathtaking smell of bacon. Jake was sitting there looking starved, Tabitha didn’t seem to look very bothered, she just sat there all day drinking Lemonade watching nickelodeon . Tabby didn’t do much else. Chris tried to keep himself healthy, he went for a jog when the sun came up and went down again. It was not normal in the Ryan household.
Jake was solitary, he liked to be on his own. He often wondered day dreaming. Anywhere or even any place. He took his chances. Jake had this one thing he would never let go of. His mothers charm bracelet . It was beautiful, it had so many great charms, for example there was a ballerina charm. It was so precious it was the only thing Jake could remember her by.
It was getting boring in Jakes house ,Tabby was moaning about getting a shiny new black swim hat that she saw on the television. Where dad was moaning even more that he could not afford it. So Jake decided to go to the beach. “ Dad I’m going to wonder on the beach” shouted Jake demanding to go.” Okay, son see you later”” Tabitha for the last time you are not getting that swim hat I mean it !!!!” said dad with his, I mean it voice. The wind stung his eyes as he carried on remembering his fathers voice but clutching his mothers charm bracelet so he knew he was safe. You DO NOT want to know what happens next!!!!!!!.
By now he was at the beach, finding sea shells picking up any trace of faraway lands. SPLASH suddenly his heart was beating tender a dozen and he DID NOT feel so safe. SPLASH, there it was again, Jake was so puzzled. A slight figure appeared in the distance, Jake didn’t feel so well. He tumbled to the ground. Walking along the lonely and completely silent beach, Jake was wondering withal his mother was ok he had not been to visit her in over 6 month’s . It’s like Chris and Tabby just forgot, did not care anymore, they probably were not bothered. SPLASH Jake made one more foot step and there it was again, SPLASH. By now Jake had jelly legs and was starting to edge up the freezing cold steps, he was only whereing his flip flops, and started towards the road. Then out of the sea came a colossal sea lion sped out of the bright blue sea. Jake blacked out!
When Jake woke up he found that something was licking his face. Grey and hairy it licked some more. It appeared to be a sea lion. His eyes were a cacophony of colours. Over several days Jake named him Mario and hid him in his old tattered paddling pool. He thought it was a cunning plan. He decided what was right and to keep it a secret for sure.
It was that time of the morning were Jake went to visit Mario , his speed was amazing he seemed so amicus to go see Mario even though he saw him every hour .But now there was a suprise, there was an escapee IN TOWN .
Jake was so heartbroken. He only got mario yeasterday. Jake new what he had to do. He had to go after him. He had been travverling for over 6 hours and had enough. He took a SIX HOUR hike to save a baby sea lion. How generous . THE smell of smoke Was in the air Jake started to panic !!!!!!!!!!.THERE Mario was , sorounded by fire , an old thatch house had burn’t down while somebody must have been cooking atleast . Jake dived in as Mario screeched with fear . Jake was terrifyed to but he absolutely addo
Tabitha grew bup to be an olympic swimmer and this was her first ever speech” At my brothers funeral I cryed my eyes out and from that moment on I have learnt to trust my heart .
