Dahabshiil Group • Dahabshiil was founded with a modest capital base by Mr Mohamed S Duale (now Chairman of Dahabshiil Group) in 1970 in Burao. • Today, it is a diversified group with global presence in 150 countries, which includes: • International remittances and Foreign exchange services • Dahabshil Bank International, Djibouti • Mobile telecoms • Mobile Payments services (soon)

The country offers strategic location and allows access via sea and transshipment opportunities for many landlocked countries in the region • The country is expected to service a regional population of some 300 million people including countries such as South Sudan, Uganda, Somali region, Ethiopia and other African countries. • DBI is well positioned to play a mature role in the financial servicing of the region
