  1. Aluminium – The omnipresent metal Sliding folding doors and windows gained a lot of popularity in India in the 80s and the 90s. This was a period of transition for whole of the country and in terms of the windows and doors too, the concepts people had, were changing. People now wanted to have set of windows and doors that was easy to operated and did not need a lot of maintenance either. The old styled doors of the balconies were being brought down and the newer sliding folding doors were being fixed for instead of them.
