Problem Description • National report : Macedonia • 42.6% of the young people who are planning to emigrate would leave the country for good • Between 1995 and 2000, the number of scientists and engineers in research and development has decreased by over seventy percent • emigration rate of tertiary educated is 20,9%. • A 2003 study estimated that between 12 to 15,000 young, educated, and highly skilled persons left the country in the decade proceeding the year of the study

What is done? • Creating partnership with one university • 5 people were employed • Organized two workshops • Raise awareness among the studentsabout the industry profiles • Students manage to create their first projects for real companies • Engaged 240 students from universities and 100 students from high schools

  5. Future plans • Organizing courses led by industry gurus • Creating science clubs, art studios, clubs for artists, • Creating a website called “Open school” – platform for free sharing of materials. • Including the students in the industry activities with several of different projects • Reaching and engaging all young people in my country that have difficulties to find a job • Creating a global movement in my country
