  4. Air Pollution • Many asthma cases have come from pollution. • Coal-fired electric power plants still exist. • Release thousands of tons of sulfur dioxide. • Urban areas are highly effected. • Carbon Dioxide is a contributor to pollution. Back to table of contents

  5. Windmills • Windmills generate natural energy. • Need multitudes of wind to push blades. • Use generators to capture energy. • Are placed in the open plains area. • Provide energy to many cities and towns. Back to table of contents

Energy-Efficient Cars • Energy-efficient cars cut down on pollution. • Release less carbon dioxide into the air. • Use many batteries. • Uses a small gasoline engine. • Uses less gasoline than a normal engine. • Require to be charged up.
