  2. What is HSF asbl (NGO) ? • Cette asbl Rotarienne et ONG est une organisation humanitaire spécialisée dans le domaine médical et hospitalier. • Deze Rotary vzw en NGO is een vereniging gespecialiseerd in geneeskundige- en Ziekenhuis-hulpverlening.

  6. Structure • Nombreux volontaires/bénévoles • 100% du budget va aux actions humanitaires • Les opérations se font de club à club et avec des groupes humanitaires reconnus. Verschillende vrijwilligers • 100% van het budget gaat naar humanitaire acties • Elke operatie gebeurt van club tot club en met erkende humanitaire groepen.

HSF Objectives • Réhabiliter et équiper des centres de soins démunis dans le monde. • Collecter et redistribuer surtout du matériel médical (neuf ou de seconde main) • Uitrusten en helpen van berooide verzorgingscentra in de wereld. • Verzamelen en herverdelen van vooral medisch materiaal (nieuw of tweedehands)

  9. 20 years of Activities Depuis sa création en 1992 plus de • >550 missions humanitaires effectuées avec succès, • dans 47 pays, soit une tous les quinze jours, • Activité en croissance ... 40 missions en 2007, 47 en 2008, 44 en 2009, 53 en 2010 et en 2012. Sinds zijn oprichting in 1992 meer dan • >550 humanitaire taken die met succes werden uitgevoerd, • in 47 landen, d.w.z. alle vijftien dagen, • Activiteit in groei … 40 taken in 2007, 47 in 2008, 44 en 2009, 53 in 2010 en 2013.

  10. 20 years of Activities Tout le matériel est gratuit pour les hôpitaux bénéficiaires. Seuls, les coûts de transport maritime sont à financer par les demandeurs … et c’est un gros problème … de plus en plus important ! HSF n’achète que le matériel consommable de première nécessité, pour une valeur de l’ordre de 15.000 € chaque année, financé par les dons de clubs et dons privés. Enkel het zeevervoer is door de aanvragerste financieren... en dat is een groot en steeds belangrijker wordend probleem...! ZZG koopt eveneens consumptiemateriaal van eerste noodzaak voor een waarde van 30.000 € elk jaar, dank zij de giften van enkele Rotary clubs en particuliere giften.

  11. HSF Philosophy • Je ne te demande pas quelle est ta race, ta nationalité ou ta religion, mais quelle est ta souffrance (Louis Pasteur) • Ik vraag je niet naar je ras, nationaliteit of godsdienst, maar wel waar je pijn vandaan komt (Louis Pasteur)
