GOAL 1 - Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger • Awareness creation on Government policies as it relates to poverty reduction e.g. NAPEP, NDE, SMEDAN etc • Skills acquisition/Vocational training e.g. farming, fish farming, tailoring, snailery etc • Formation of community based cooperatives societies to attract loans. • There should be Value Re-orientation. • Family planning according to available resources

GOAL 2 - Achieve universal basic education • Awareness creation on Government policies as it relates to education e.g. free education for children in primary school • Adopting the child-right act by the government etc • The use of posters, banners, handbills etc to illustrate the importance of education. • Organizing free extra moral lessons. • Engage the mass media etc TV, Prints etc • Donation of free educational materials etc pens, exercise book

GOAL 2 (cont’d.) • Establishment of evening classes • Campaign for girl child education • Free school feeding courtesy of the Government or NGOs. • Introduction of adult education • Introduction of inter-school debate • Scholarship from stakeholders • Provision of adequate infrastructure to enhance learning.

GOAL 3 - Promote gender equality and empower women • Skills acquisition for women • Adult education • Promote equal opportunities for the boy and girl child. • Advocacy for the girl child education • Provision of loan facilities • Training in leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship • Advocacy for inclusion in School curriculum gender issues • Advocacy for full and active participation of women in politics.

GOAL 4 - Reduce child mortality • Linkages with government institutions e.g. National Programme on Immunization (NPI), etc • Awareness creation on the child right act of Nigeria • Advocacy on breast feeding for six months. • Community mobilization for child immunization • Awareness creation on free ante natal care • Child nutrition education • Advocacy for enhanced hygiene practices for children • Training of TBAs for proper care for pregnant women • Improving primary health care facilities

GOAL 5 - Improve maternal health • Sensitize women on health related issues such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, etc • Sensitize women to attend ante-natal and post-natal sessions • Campaign against teenage pregnancy • Campaign for adoption of family planning • Campaign against unsafe abortion • Educate women on issues of personal hygiene • Educate women on proper nutrition • Maintain hygienic environment.

  8. GOAL 6 - Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB and other diseases • Awareness creation on periodic HIV/AIDS test • Awareness creation on free treatment and prevention of malaria • Awareness creation on programmes on free treatment on TB and leprosy

GOAL 7 - Ensure environmental sustainability • Tree planting campaign • Construction of proper drainage system • Ensure environmental sanitation • Proper waste management and disposal • Fumigation • Campaign against bush burning • Campaign against use of chemicals in fishing • Campaign for the conservation of natural resources

GOAL 8 - Develop global partnership for development • Education and youth exchange in science , culture and education • Advocacy and promotion of export based farming programme. • Communication for business • Agricultural extension programme between two or more communities to promote partnership.
