  1. Project Description/Team Mission Assignment Phase II Washington State University Global Health Building: • Minimum 72,000 SF • 5 car parking lot • Connect to existing lobby of Phase I Building • Loading dock • Our goal as a team is to create a final design report by combining our knowledge and experience in the civil engineering field.

  2. Team Member Identification/Responsiblities KaylorHasbargen: • structural aspects of the project. • modeling the building and performing the necessary calculations • team representative when contacting KPFF consulting engineers Chris Reynolds: • assisting with the structural aspects of the project and other drafting aspects of the project • communications and time management for the group

  3. Chad Lawrence: • Creating the civil site plans • Monitoring any environmental impacts of construction • Assisting with getting LEED certification Mathew Colling: • Stormwater design for the site following the standards from the Eastern Washington Stormwater Manual • Insure that the building receives LEED certification

  4. Measures of Success • The usefulness of the Project to KPFF Consulting Engineers • Quality of final design report • Potential reduction of cost for KPPF Consulting Engineers

  5. Boundaries/Operating Guidelines • Design for the new building and all of the civil site work plans for Phase II • Responsible to produce the Final Design Report • Bi-weekly submission of timesheets and memos • Communication for the team will primarily take place over email, text, and in person. • Weekly meetings scheduled after our labs • Conflict management will take place during the weekly team meeting and will first be handled within the group.
